Reviving your marriage

Salam it's December again..and as usual both of us received lots of Wedding Invitation.

Both of us were married in the month of December too :-)

Today N3 is an article which I came across while surfing the net. I have a friend who is now in a dilemma as she felt that her marriage is falling apart. She confided to me recently that it is so hard to communicate with her husband " Mr Z" without ending with a fight. Sometimes she said they're not in speaking term for days... Susah tu husband & wife tak communicate.

To my friend "Nxxx" banyak bersabar and berdoa semoga rumahtangga kalian diberkati dan berkekalan.. Amin.

HOW TO REVIVE YOUR MARRIAGE
It is very sad to see so many married couples end up in divorce. It is no exaggeration to say that millions of marriages break down every year.

One marriage counsellor observed regarding those marrying today: "One-quarter will end up in the divorce court, while another one-quarter will keep their marriages legally intact for a variety of reason, but will get little satisfaction from them."
No marriage is exempt. In fact, your marriage may be experiencing turmoil right now.

So, what can you do to revive your marriage? How can you make it healthy once more?

In order to revive your marriage you must first acknowledge that there is something wrong with your marriage.
This is something that many couples fail to do and with not doing so, they find it difficult to see how they can be helped.

In fact, a mistake that many make is that they tend to be unrealistic and so are their expectations toward their spouse. They are influenced by what they see in movies, read from books and television dramas that are far from real life.

When their dreams do not come true, they feel cheated, bitter and unsatisfied.
Mental and emotional strain plus the difference in upbringing of each partner contributes to disagreements about everything - money, in-laws and children.

Communication is the most vital factor if you wish to revive your marriage.

Set the mood to have a heart to heart talk with your spouse. Prepare beforehand what you want to say and the points you want to make so that you will be able to do this in a rational and calm way when you sit down together.

Make it an aim to discuss differences and not attack one another.

There is an old saying: "Be fast in listening, be slow in talking and be slower in anger."

Express to your spouse how you feel. Be honest and open and if you feel misunderstood say so. Try to let your partner finish what they are saying before you speak.

Also, recognise that part of reviving your marriage may require changes.

It is not uncommon to hear a wife complains of how her husband has changed by not being the same romantic guy he used to be.

Or a husband saying that his wife is not the same sweet girl she was to him.

So reviving your marriage may require you to spice things up. To help you realize any of your shortcomings, look at your photos before you got married. This can put you in mind of how you have changed. By doing this, you may see how much you have altered, and this will help you to know what changes you need to make.

Develop more warmth and intimacy to find more pleasure in each other's company with your spouse. Most importantly make time to be together..

It takes a lot of work to bring about and then continue a successful union. Couples can seek advice from self-help books or from a marriage counselor as long as that is what you both want to do.

Open Door

Salam ,

Oleh kerana this year kami tak buat Open house, ramai yang bertanya..so kami jemput mereka datang ..kami cakap bukan open house tapi open door heheh ( sebab buat bukan besar-besaran ).

Alhamdulillah ramai yang datang semalam. so tak membazirlah juadah yang telah di sediakan.
Sempat jugak kita buat Homemade Chocs & Cupcakes untuk mereka ( sebab kebanyakkan mereka ni our best & close friends). Alhamdulillah ramai pulak yang berkenan dgn cupcakes & chocolates yang kita buat & ada yang dah placed order.

Jiran-jiran pun kami jemput jugak. Lepas tetamu pulang Hubby puji kita , katanya "walaupun takde maid u managed to arranged everything smoothly ya). Alhamdulillah jabwabku.

Malam ni nampaknya tidur lambat lagilah kita sebab nak buat tempahan chocolates & cupcakes tu :-) Tapi no worries sebab kalau kita stay up buat cakes normally hubby akan temankan, thanks dear kerana memahami minatku :-)

Pretty Lady looking for Rich guy...

Salam,

Got this from my friend and wud like to share it with you guys ...enjoy :-)

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:
Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy?

I’m going to be honest of what I’m going to say here. I’m 25 this year. I’m very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I’m greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York. My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married? I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you? Among those I’ve dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden (?), $250k annual income is not enough.

I’m here humbly to ask a few questions:
1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)
2) Which age group should I target?
3) Why most wives of the riches is only average-looking? I’ve met a few girls who doesn’t have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys
4) How do you decide who can be your wife, and who can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married)

Ms. Pretty

Here’s a reply from a Wall Street Financial guy:

Dear Ms. Pretty,

I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyze your situation as a professional investor. My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I’m not wasting time here.

From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain. Put the details aside, what you’re trying to do is an exchange of “beauty” and “money”: Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square. However, there’s a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can’t be prettier year after year. Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It’s not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worried 10 years later

By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a “trading position”. If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term – same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or “leased”. Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Hope this reply helps. If you are interested in “leasing” services, do contact mesigned, J.P. Morgan

Salam ,
Walaupun dah start bekerja tapi mood raya tu masih lagi tebal :-P
Semalam bawak muffins chocolates & Blueberry untuk office colleagues.

Hari ni pulak jamu mereka dgn kuih Lidah Kuching. Actually kuih ni kita dah pernah order dari Kak Long before Raya tapi Syawal ke 3 hari tu rumah kita kena ambushed oleh sanak saudara so kuih pun dah banyak habis so ..kita order lah lagi 4 telap dari Kak Long and tadi Kak Long delivered kuih tu pada kita..

Wah..berjalan & makan sakan nampaknya kami sekeluarga :-)

Pagi tadi Ibu mertua ku telefon ajak aku beraya ke 3 tempat hari Sabtu ni ,...wah..berjalan lagi nampaknya :-)
